2 representatives of our Lego Guard  team (Andrew and I) along with Coach Heidi- traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark as guests of SONY to present last year's project (Forest Guard) at the Bright Green Expo in SONY's booth.

We had the opportunity to meet and talk with Dean Kamen (founder of FIRST) and Kjeld Kirk Kristianson (owner of LEGO). We discussed what FLL means to us and how we are promoting it, as well as talking about this year's Smart Move project! Dean thought it was a really good idea!

We also met John Holdren, Science Advisor to President Obama. He was very interested in FIRST and FLL and was impressed with the team's idea for this year's challenge.  He commented that President Obama is very supportive of programs like FIRST and that we are showing that 'kids can make a difference' in the World!
